If you're looking for something different to do, or are new to the area, try Bad Axe Throwing in our Denver location. It’s a great place to take a date, a group of rowdy friends or a company for team building. There are plenty of competitive games to play and an incredible amount of fun to be had. Bad Axe Throwing Denver is one of our bigger locations that features 6 axe throwing targets and plenty of hangout space for larger corporate events. Local attractions near us include Unser Karting & Events (Go Karting). We’re conveniently located just off of I-25 and I-270, approximately 10 minutes north of downtown Denver. We can accommodate groups as small as 8 and up to 90 of your family, friends and co-workers. Can’t get enough Bad Axe Throwing? Did you know we run leagues? Each axe throwing league at Bad Axe Throwing lasts 8 weeks. The first 7 weeks of league you compete with others, have fun and you’ll also get to see where you rank on the global World Axe Throwing League leaderboard! What are your steps for implementing social distancing?
- We use every other target.
- The coach will maintain a 6ft distance even during training. They will not have any sort of contact with guests.
- Payment will be done at a distance. Guests will place their credit card on a table then step back. Coach will step forward, swipe the card then leave the POS on the table for signature if it's required. Guests will step forward then take their card. Also, if functioning & available, our POS has a "tap to pay" function.
What is the size of the axe throwing lanes?
They are each 12 ft wide allowing you and your guests to throw safely with no crowding from other lanes.
What extra steps do you take to ensure safety?
- We wipe down axes after every event
- We wipe down touchable surfaces after every event, including your dedicated table/sitting area
- Essentially, touchable surfaces are thoroughly cleaned & sanitized
Do you provide or sell face masks if we don't have our own?
Unfortunately we currently do not provide or sell masks
Do you allow guests with fevers or other symptoms in the facility?
For the safety of our customers and staff, any guests experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed in our facilities.
What are the hours of operation?
If you'd like to make a booking, group events are by appointment only. But we also offer occasional walk-in sessions. Make sure to scroll down and check out our walk in calendar in advance to see when you can come hang out!

If you’re interested in catering food, we’ll provide you with a list of local vendors and restaurants that we’ve worked with in the past. Our axe throwing venues all have tables and a fridges which are available to you to eat and keep it all extra fresh. We’ll take care of everything from start to finish and promise your team will leave with appropriate (and fun) photos.
