Let me paint a picture for you: the sun is dipping just below the horizon and the beach crowds are waning. It beckons to you, and appeals to your primal sensibilities with it’s glow. You can make out a bearded fellow squinting with a fierce, yet challenging, glance and he is framed by large axes in the background behind him. You enter the building the neon sign led you to and are in awe at the beautifully drawn, circular targets presented to you the instant you enter. A friendly face greets you warmly and says, “Welcome to Bad Axe Throwing! You wanna throw some axes?” You reach into your swim trunks for your phone (that wasn’t left in a drunkenly-made sand castle by the way) and call everyone you know to tell them to bring food, music, and drinks.
