Kansas City residents, listen up! Word on the street is that a new Bad Axe location is opening up soon at 1727 and 1729 Oak Street in downtown Kansas City.  Follow this Google Maps link to get the exact spot where the location will be!

We’ve got lots of great reasons for you to come visit our location in Kansas City, including the 6000+ square foot space that is being prepped to accommodate multiple lanes

Bad Axe Throwing has plenty of elbow room unlock those other axe arenas that cram groups together (we’re not hating, it’s just a fact). The kitted-out merchandise station will have plenty of items for you to get your shop on while you get your chop on. Our grand open houses are an experience within themselves, and we invite you to come out for a bash! Grand open houses are a great way to give axe throwing a whirl, and for free! Take advantage of free axe-throwing while it lasts by being there to christen the wood planking. Close-toed shoes are a must, and bringing your own alcohol is encouraged.

Be prepared to be engaged in a lively and loud session with your coaches and you may leave with an axe throwing buddy at the end.

Children as old as 12 are able to throw but younger children may be accommodated upon opening so call ahead to check. Nobody brought anything to the office potluck this year and that is a bummer. Be the redemptive coworker who mentions corporate event bookings and rates at Bad Axe Throwing! Bringing your own refreshments is also allowed as each of our locations has simple mini fridge storage for keeping food and beverages cold. So, to sum up, here are the reasons Bad Axe Throwing should be your next outing destination:

  • Big facility for huge parties and groups
  • Merchandise to represent your inner Bad Axe Thrower
  • Personal Axe Coach who goes over safe throwing rules, games, and your throw’s fine-tuning
  • Bring your own food and beverage to make it an eat-and-throw party
  • Bring the kids (tell them we have Wifi)
  • Corporate event bookings and rates for bookings

The facility opening is planned for May of 2018 so, in the meantime, be sure to make a booking at one of our other 19 locations across the U.S. If you’re interested in an exciting career interacting and entertaining people of all ages and you’re not afraid of a sharp edge, be sure to check local listings for when we hire our coaching staff. Additionally, if you are an artist looking for a major mural commission, reach out to us!
