What’s your favorite thing about Axe Throwing?
I love seeing peoples’ faces light up when they stick a great throw for the first time, especially if they weren’t enthusiastic about it when they first arrived.

What do you tell people who have never thrown an axe before?
Throw with confidence! Channel your inner Conan or Xena and let the axe do all the work.
If you could throw axes with any one person in history who would it be and why?
I’d love to throw down against Alexander the Great so I could claim to be the only man ever to best him in battle–if I win, that is!

What do you do when you’re not axe throwing?

I’m usually writing, gaming with friends, or exercising to stay in sharp, axe-throwing shape.
What’s a cool fact about you?
I was featured in American Motorcyclist Association’s 75th Anniversary magazine
Do you have any hidden talents?

I can wiggle my ears on command

If you were marooned on a desert island what 3 items would you bring?
An axe would certainly be handy! Besides that, I would bring a fully charged iPod classic (battery life for days) loaded with the best jams, and a satellite phone for my hasty return…I’ve got groups to coach!

Is there anyone you’d like to make a shout out to?
Big shout out to my fellow K.O.T.A. members, the original J. Street & Jefferson Ave boys, and those wonderful people in Shiner, TX who make a world-class bock.
