Hannah hosted us at Bad Axe last night and did a fantastic job of balancing technique instruction with witty banter. We had family visiting from overseas so it made for a great, unique, North American activity! We left with smiles and new stories to reminisce about for years to come :)
"Great Halloween Time!"
Last night I visited the Toronto location and was greeted by a friendly, knowledgeable staffer. Great customer service, affordable, and I had loads of fun. I will definitely be back!

What are the hours of operation?
If you'd like to make a booking, group events are by appointment only. But we also offer occasional walk-in sessions. Make sure to scroll down and check out our walk in calendar in advance to see when you can come hang out!
How can I pay?
We're a cashless business - not in the sense that we're completely broke, but we only accept credit cards on-site. This means no dinero por favor. AMEX, Visa, Mastercard are gladly accepted. Diner's Cards are too, if anyone still uses them.
What are the minimum and maximum group sizes for events?
We can host groups as small as 8, and if you're really popular, we can accommodate up to 70 of your family and friends!
Can I get a deal if I pay cash?
This isn't a garage sale! Kidding - sorta. Being the good citizens that we are, we "like" to pay our taxes. So unfortunately cash/money won't get you hooked up.
When should I book? How far in advance?
It depends on how much you love the person! haha! But seriously, if you are looking to book on a weekend, then you should book at least 4 weeks in advance. If you are looking to book on a weekday, then you should book at least 1-2 weeks in advance. It all depends: summer time has a bit more flexibility, any other time is pretty busy.
How long does axe throwing take?
An axe throwing event should take about 2 hours. Get your chops in less than half an hour then stick bullseyes for the rest.
We accept all forms of credit cards.
Unfortunately we do not accept cash on site.

Your bachelor/bachelorette party is supposed to be the single most epic night of your life with your closest friends. No pressure, right? There's no better way to start an epic night to remember than with an axe in hand! Instead of debating which club to go to or the cost of flights, get your crew together for an unconventional night that’s sure to take care of any pre-wedding jitters (or better yet, let out the aggression that comes from planning a wedding).
Anyone with hands can do it and anyone who enjoys fun will.
Like the bridesmaid dress or tux that perfectly fits all shapes and sizes, axe throwing is your all-inclusive sport packed with thrills and excitement. No matter the age or skill level, it’s an accessible activity for your best friend, brother, sister and third cousin. Simply put: no one will be left out and everyone will enjoy a night to truly let loose. Bad Axe Throwing also allows you to bring your favourite party snacks, drinks and even cake. If you’d like catered food, we can provide you with a list of local vendors who serve up only top-notch fare. Tables and a fridge are provided for you to eat and keep it all extra fresh. A little competitive action can cause wedding parties to get quite rowdy—and we encourage that! If you have a few party guests that feel axe throwing just isn’t for them (or maybe they have a broken arm), they can still participate in the festivities and watch from the sidelines. We won’t charge them either, because we want your celebration to be about your very last moments of singledom. You deserve to have all of your favourite people there and we’re just awesome like that.
